After El Calafate and the magical Glaciar Perito Moreno we HAD to go to the end of the world : Ushuaia.
There is not a lot to see but it is still very beautiful and the landscape is shared between the mountains and the sea... but the best part is that it is considered to be the "end of the world". And we were there !
Is was not freezing but still far too cold for Stephanie so we decided to head back north to warmer climate.
This time we drove on the east side of Argentina (through the famous route 3). It is asphalted but we continued to collect stars into our winshield... Soon the passenger won't see anything from the landscape.
On our way up we went to see the pinguins in Parque Nacional de Monte Leon...
...and then of course we stopped to Peninsula Valdez to see some other pinguins (much closer this time ; we could nearly touch them), sea lions, and big orcas swimming around sea lions for their lunches (we actualy saw an orca jumping on the beach to grab a poor sea lion... (this is fate of nature).
It was getting warmer and warmer...but I couldn't take my sweater off yet so we drove further north... up to Buenos Aires.
We arrived there 2 days ago and though we would continue our trip quickly but Buenos Aires is so nice, and we have been so nicely welcomed by our friend Guido and his girlfrend Julieta that unfortunatly for them we are staying a couple more days !
But the trip is not over. As we still have a lot of time ahead of us we decided to go to Uruguay, then southern Brasil (Florianopolis), reach from there Iguazu and then drive to Asuncion Paraguay...
So you have to stay connected...
